The Role

Looking for 2 part-time RNs

The Infusion Clinic is Australia’s first nurse-led infusion service, where patients are referred by their GP or specialist for Intravenous therapies, including iron infusions and biologic treatments, for acute and chronic conditions.

We administer over 13,500 infusions each year across our three clinics (one in Melbourne and two in Sydney).

Our Randwick clinic, located opposite the Prince of Wales Hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse with expertise in IV cannulation to join our team full-time.

About the Role
This is a fast-paced yet highly rewarding environment where patient assessment and clinical excellence are at the forefront. You will be responsible for cannulating the patient, administering intravenous infusions, monitoring patients, and responding confidently to any adverse reactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work independently with access to an on-site Nurse Practitioner, or off-site medical advice

2. Confidently cannulate patients receiving intravenous infusions; some patients will have challenging veins

3. Administer medications and other infusion therapies as per protocol

4. Monitor patients closely during infusion treatments, and have the confidence to treat an anaphylaxis event

5. Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation, and communicate back to referring doctors using an electronic medical record

6. Provide a high standard of compassionate, patient-centred care at all times
