GP Practice Nurse (RN) – Part-Time Permanent

Schotters Road Medical Centre is a modern, patient-centred general practice under new management, committed to delivering accessible, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare to our growing community.

We are looking for a motivated and caring Registered Nurse to join our friendly team on a part-time permanent basis.

Working closely with our GPs, Practice management , and reception team, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the continued growth of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in a general practice setting.

• Perform health assessments, chronic disease management, care plans, and preventive health activities.

• Administer vaccinations and support immunisation programs.

• Provide wound care, ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical procedures as required.

• Coordinate patient recalls, reminders, and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice software.

• Work collaboratively with GPs, reception staff, and allied health professionals.

• Support quality improvement, infection prevention, and accreditation activities.

About You

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

• Previous experience in general practice is highly desirable.

• Immunisation accreditation (or willingness to obtain).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• A proactive, compassionate, and patient-centred approach to care.

• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
