About the role
Garmin Chonburi (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer (Test, Electronics & Mechanical) to join our team. In this full-time position based in Chonburi, you will play a crucial role in driving our manufacturing excellence by optimizing processes, test systems, and product design to ensure high yield, quality, and efficiency.
What you'll be doing
1. Process & System Optimization
1.1 Optimize manufacturing and test processes, conditions, and systems (including test programs, hardware, and mechanical processes) based on product specifications and production targets (yield, efficiency, and quality), using FMEA methodology.
1.2 Identify process, test, and supplier risks, and drive improvements in process capability, test architecture, and product quality
1.3 Establish process and test standardization, and execute line scaling and cross-site validation
2. Production Data & Performance Management
2.1 Define and monitor key metrics (e.g., FPY, retest rate, yield, defect rate), and perform data analysis to drive improvement actions
2.2 Continuously improve process stability, test system performance, and cross-line/product consistency
3. Design Improvement & Implementation
3.1 Provide recommendations for test architecture, electronic systems, and mechanical design (dimension, tolerance, material) based on production data
3.2 Collaborate with design teams and suppliers to evaluate, validate, and implement improvements into mass production
4. System, Supply & Change Management
4.1 Manage and standardize test systems, manufacturing processes, and related software/tools
4.2 Monitor supply risks (e.g., tooling, capacity) and provide early warnings
4.3 Evaluate, validate, and implement changes related to test systems, electronics, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes
What we're looking for
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
· Good command of English both written and spoken (equivalent with TOEIC score of 600 or above required)
· Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and techniques
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
