Hiring through Pro Worker (Outsourcing Partner)
Pro Worker, as an outsourcing partner representing an Australia-based technology and business consulting firm, is seeking a QA Engineer to lead quality assurance and testing strategies for high-impact digital platforms across web, mobile, and API systems in the sports, media, and entertainment industries.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building robust testing frameworks, driving quality standards, and ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive testing frameworks for web (React/Next.js), mobile (React Native, iOS, Android), and API services (Node.js/NestJS).
- Establish quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices across multiple squads.
- Develop and maintain test automation strategies using modern frameworks.
- Create testing approaches for performance, security, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Lead QA planning and coordination across multiple development streams.
- Build and maintain automated testing pipelines (integration, system, end-to-end).
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.
- Develop scalable test infrastructure supporting parallel execution and fast feedback loops.
- Implement automated regression testing for critical user journeys and business functions.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide QA guidance, consultation, and best practice sharing across teams.
- Mentor teams on testing strategies and quality-focused development practices.
- Leverage monitoring, logging, and observability tools for post-release validation and performance tracking.
- Work with infrastructure teams on containerized and cloud-based testing environments.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt modern testing tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- Strong experience in QA Engineering, test strategy, and automation.
- Hands-on experience testing web, mobile, and API applications.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Selenium, etc.).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- Experience with performance testing, security testing, and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and containerized testing setups.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring or guiding development teams is a plus.
- Quality-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory, as you will collaborate daily with Australian teams.
