Job Description:
As a Backend Developer Intern at Freelan, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our experienced developers and learn from their expertise while also bringing your own fresh ideas and perspectives to the table.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems and applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in backend development
- Assist in testing and deploying new features and updates
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of programming concepts and experience with at least one backend programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js)
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Spring
- Knowledge of database design and management (SQL or NoSQL)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and time management skills
