AI VIDEO & MOTION DESIGNER

About the role

This role is for a new generation of video creator — someone who combines strong video editing, motion design, storytelling, and generative AI video skills to turn ideas and visual assets into compelling finished content. You will work with both AI-generated and real-world footage.

Key responsibilities

• Create AI-generated video and animation from images, storyboards, scripts, and creative direction.

• Transform AI-generated characters and environments into believable moving scenes.

• Edit AI-generated footage, real footage, graphics, voice-over, music, and sound into finished videos.

• Create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and digital advertising.

• Produce longer-form campaign films, brand stories, educational content, interviews, and documentaries.

• Create motion graphics, animated typography, titles, transitions, and visual effects.

• Add music, sound effects, ambience, voice-over, subtitles, and basic sound design.

• Adapt master content into multiple formats, durations, and platform requirements.

• Identify problems in AI-generated video and regenerate, repair, hide, or creatively work around them.

• Work closely with the AI Generative Artist and Creative & Production Lead to execute storyboards and visual direction.

About you

• Strong video-editing skills and a good understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and emotional timing.

• Strong hands-on experience with professional video-editing and/or motion-design software.

• Experience using generative AI for video, animation, image-to-video, or related creative production.

• Strong motion-design skills, including typography, graphics, transitions, and visual composition.

• Good understanding of music, sound effects, ambience, and how sound changes the emotional impact of a video.

• Ability to combine AI footage + real footage + graphics + sound into one coherent final film.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognise unnatural AI movement, facial inconsistencies, visual artifacts, and continuity problems.

• Comfortable experimenting, generating multiple versions, reviewing results, and improving them until they meet the required standard.

• Strong interest in filmmaking, advertising, storytelling, social content, and emerging AI technology.

• Portfolio demonstrating AI-generated video or animation, strong video editing and storytelling, motion graphics and animated typography, short-form social content, cinematic or emotionally driven content, and sound design and music integration.
