Merchant Acquisition Manager (Sales & BD)

About the Role

We are looking for a Merchant Acquisition Manager to grow our merchant network in Jakarta, with a strong focus on F&B and restaurant businesses.

The ideal candidate is a proactive B2B salesperson who can identify potential merchants, build relationships with decision-makers, negotiate partnerships, close deals, and support merchants through launch.

What you will do

• Identify and approach potential restaurant and F&B merchants in Jakarta.

• Build relationships with restaurant owners, founders, and key decision-makers.

• Generate leads and arrange meetings with potential merchants.

• Present and negotiate commercial partnership terms.

• Manage the full sales process from lead generation ? negotiation ? contract signing ? merchant launch.

• Acquire multi-outlet restaurants and restaurant chains.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants and restaurant groups.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful merchant onboarding and launch.
  

What you will need to have

• Strong Bahasa Indonesia communication and negotiation skills.

• Basic working proficiency in English.

• Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not required.

• Experience in Sales, Business Development, Merchant Acquisition, or B2B sales.

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to work independently and proactively generate new business.

• Existing network of F&B merchants, restaurant brands, or restaurant groups in Jakarta is highly preferred. Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers such as Owners, Founders, Marketing Heads, Operations Heads, or Business Development leaders.

• Candidates from the following backgrounds are highly preferred: F&B/Food Delivery Platform (i.e GoFood, Grab Food, Shopee Food, Traveloka Eats or any similar food delivery or local services platforms, Payments/POS/SaaS or E-wallets and F&B Business Development background.
