I. Position Overview
Responsible for market development, customer acquisition, and sales account management of building materials products across Jakarta and surrounding regions of Indonesia, covering B2B clients such as general contractors, real estate developers, and building materials distributors. Achieve individual sales targets and support the company's bulk building materials trading, one-stop consolidated procurement, and core product sales operations.
II. Job Responsibilities
Customer Development & Expansion — Proactively develop target accounts including local Jakarta real estate projects, engineering contractors, and building materials retailers/distributors; identify building materials procurement needs; expand new cooperation channels; achieve monthly/quarterly customer acquisition targets.
End-to-End Sales Follow-Up — Manage the full sales cycle from requirements gathering, product quotation, and commercial negotiation through to contract execution; oversee the entire chain of order production, logistics delivery, and accounts receivable collection to ensure on-schedule achievement of sales targets.
Product & Solution Promotion — Present the company's full building materials portfolio (flooring systems, waterproofing materials, architectural hardware, smart locks, residential water purifiers, cement self-leveling, etc.) to clients; develop tailored material supply proposals aligned with project requirements; match one-stop consolidated procurement needs.
Customer Relationship Management — Conduct regular follow-up visits with existing accounts, track post-sales feedback, maintain long-term partnerships, and deeply mine repeat-purchase and incremental procurement opportunities.
Market Intelligence — Collect local market competitor activity, pricing trends, and shifting customer demands; submit periodic market feedback reports; assist the company in refining sales and pricing strategies.
Cross-Functional Coordination — Liaise with warehousing, logistics, and technical support functions; coordinate resolution of order fulfillment issues, product application consultations, and related matters to safeguard the customer service experience.
III. Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
High school / technical secondary school (SMA/SMK) diploma or above; 1–3 years of sales experience; prior experience selling building materials, hardware, or engineering-support products preferred.
Familiar with the Jakarta local building materials market landscape; possess foundational commercial negotiation and client communication skills; open to frequent field visits to customers.
Able to work and communicate in English; Chinese listening/speaking proficiency preferred.
Proficient in basic office tools (Excel, WhatsApp Business); able to independently prepare quotations and organize sales orders.
Conscientious and accountable; able to perform under sales targets/pressure; self-driven execution in customer development.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing local channel resources within general contracting, real estate development, or building materials distribution.
Sales experience in engineering building materials categories such as flooring, waterproofing, and hardware.
Prior experience with Chinese-invested enterprises and ability to handle Chinese-language business requirements.
Holder of a valid Indonesian driver's license with ability to commute independently for client visits.
IV. Compensation Reference (aligned with the Jakarta local market)
Base Salary: IDR 3,000,000 – 4,000,000 / month, negotiable based on experience and resources.
Sales Commission: Tiered commission structured by sales volume.
Benefits: Social security (BPJS), annual performance bonus, and paid leave on major Indonesian statutory public holidays (red-letter days), subject to company policy.
