Job Scope:
Develop Training Need Analysis (TNA), training syllabus, modules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials for operators.
Conduct theoretical, practical, refresher, and remedial training programs for heavy equipment operators.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-site operational observations to improve operators' competencies and performance.
Conduct operator competency assessments and recommend competency development programs.
Ensure operators comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and company regulations.
Deliver training on occupational health and safety (OHS), defensive driving, and safety culture awareness.
Participate in incident investigations related to operator competency and develop preventive training programs.
Prepare training schedules, reports, and maintain operator competency databases.
Coordinate with the Operations, HSE, Plant, and HR Departments to support operator competency development.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Operator Trainer, or Training Supervisor in the nickel mining industry. Mandatory: Training of Trainer (TOT) certification.
Hold General Occupational Safety and Health (K3 Umum) and First-Line Operational Supervisor (POP) certifications.
Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as Excavators, Bulldozers, Wheel Loaders, Motor Graders, Dump Trucks, and other mining equipment.
Capable of developing training materials, conducting coaching and mentoring sessions, performing competency assessments, and evaluating operator performance.
Strong administrative skills in training management, report preparation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Excellent leadership, communication, public speaking, coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
Able to collaborate effectively across departments and committed to improving productivity and promoting a strong safety culture.
Continuous improvement mindset with a commitment to operational excellence and workforce development.
Preferably based in Sulawesi.
