About the Role:
We are looking to expand our network of skilled Lao Interpreters to support ongoing and upcoming interpretation projects. As a freelance interpreter, you will play a key role in bridging communication gaps across a range of industries including healthcare, legal, business, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation between Lao and English during calls, meetings, and other assignments.
Ensure clear and effective communication while maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
Adapt interpretation style to suit various industries and client requirements.
Handle assignments professionally, whether remote (OPI/VRI) or on-site.
Requirements:
Proven experience in professional interpretation.
Fluency in Lao and English (both spoken and written).
Strong listening, memory, and multitasking skills.
Stable internet connection and a quiet working environment (for remote roles).
Knowledge of medical, legal, and business terminology is a plus.
Punctuality, reliability, and adherence to confidentiality standards.
