About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accounting professional to join our team in South Jakarta, Jakarta on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting functions that are essential to our operations and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and the timely delivery of financial reports that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Recording and reconciling financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements

2. Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly documented

3. Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing

4. Conducting regular bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies

5. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders

6. Assisting with the preparation of financial data for audits and ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and organised

7. Maintaining detailed records of all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

8. Identifying and resolving accounting issues and discrepancies in a timely manner

9. Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures

10. Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and clarify transaction details as needed

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

2. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent recognised certification) is highly desirable

3. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting roles

4. Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models

5. Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, standards and regulatory requirements applicable to investment management or financial services

6. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all financial work

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends

8. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

9. Professional written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian

10. Reliability, integrity and a proactive approach to work responsibilities

11. Experience with investment management accounting or similar regulated financial environments is preferred
