About the role
Special Projects Management Trainee focusing on Reservations/Revenue Management and Special Projects. This role involves analysing the market, tracking establishment activity (bookings, cancellations, occupancy rate), and gathering competitive intelligence. The successful candidate will create reports and make suggestions to management. Special Projects can be revenue or customer related projects depending on business needs. The successful candidate will be trained operationally to be part of front desk operations in the first 3 months.
Key responsibilities
Analyse market activity and track establishment metrics including bookings, cancellations, and occupancy rate
Gather competitive intelligence
Create reports and make suggestions to management
Manage and optimize property listings on various OTA platforms
Work on revenue or customer related special projects as needed
Participate in front desk operations during initial 3-month training period
About you
Degree holder (regardless of academic discipline)
Strong command of English, both speaking and writing
Very high levels of attention to detail and exactness
Able to manage and optimize property listings on various OTA platforms
Proactive with high initiative and logical thinking
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Superb organizational and time management abilities
Good attitude and able to handle complaints
Ability to work in a team or individually
Very high levels of personal discipline, honesty and integrity
