As a Solutions Quality Analyst (Automation), you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of digital solutions within the life sciences industry. You will support validation documentation, execute testing activities, identify and document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
This role reports to the Solutions Quality Analyst Team Lead and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute validation documentation, including Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summaries, and Traceability Matrices.
- Define test parameters, conduct integration, functional, and stress testing for applications and hardware, and track/report defects.
- Coordinate and oversee testing activities, ensuring efficiency and quality while triaging and resolving issues.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews, identifying quality gaps and providing timely feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and Good Clinical Practices in all testing activities.
- Generate reports from project management and defect-tracking systems as needed.
- Support software design, configuration, and documentation to streamline implementation.
- Assist with project milestones, deliverable reviews, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and execute UAT documentation (UAT Test plans, Scripts, and Summary Reports) and provide support as needed.
- Collaborate with copyright/license holders and translation vendors as required.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in enterprise software testing, with strong automation testing skills.
- Experience developing and executing validation documentation
- Industry certifications (ISTQB, BBST, TAU, etc.) preferred.
- Hands-on experience performing manual testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing. Experience with stress or performance testing is an advantage.
- Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects using defect management tools.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing lifecycle (STLC), and Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience participating in requirements analysis and design reviews to identify quality risks and ensure testability.
- Knowledge of software validation principles and regulated environments, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Computer System Validation (CSV), and 21 CFR Part 11 is highly preferred.
