We are seeking an experienced and passionate IGCSE & AS/A Level Economics Teacher to join our Secondary School team in Jakarta Utara. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our students at both IGCSE and Advanced Level. As Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring students to understand economic principles and their real-world applications, preparing them for success in their examinations and fostering a genuine interest in economics as a discipline. This role is integral to our commitment to academic excellence and student achievement within our International Baccalaureate and Cambridge examination framework.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related discipline from a recognised university

2. Proven experience teaching IGCSE and/or AS/A Level Economics, or equivalent international economics curricula

3. In-depth knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Economics syllabuses and examination requirements

4. Strong subject matter expertise with the ability to make economics engaging and relevant to students

5. Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills

6. Demonstrated ability to use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning

7. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support a positive school culture

8. Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

9. Patience, flexibility and a genuine passion for student success

Preferred experience

1. Experience working in an international or Cambridge-based school environment

2. Familiarity with online learning platforms and remote teaching methodologies

3. Experience in developing enrichment activities or co-curricular economics programmes
