Sales Engineer (Fiber Optic Instrument)

About the role

Join the dynamic Sales team at PT Sinar Surya Komunikatama as a Sales Marketing Engineer, specialising in Fiber Optic Telecommunication Tools (Instrument) such as Splicer, OTDR, Bertest, Fault Locator, and Accessories. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and supporting the company's expansion in the Fast Growing Telkom Bussiness.

What you'll be doing

1. Actively engage with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

2. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand the company's client base

3. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our Fiber Optic Telecommunication offerings

4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted promotional campaigns

5. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities

6. Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and new product developments

What we're looking for

1. Proven sales experience, preferably in the Fiber Optic Telecommunication Tools and Accessories industry

2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Fiber Optic Telecommunication products and their applications

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with customers

4. Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions

5. Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

6. Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
