Job Summary
We are looking for an analytical, agile, and results-driven Interim Demand Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory levels by creating highly accurate demand forecasts. You will bridge the gap between historical data and future market dynamics, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to keep our supply chain running smoothly. As an interim professional, you will hit the ground running, work independently, and drive immediate value in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical sales, market trends, promotions, product availability, and business insights
Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with business needs
Optimize inventory levels and product availability while minimizing stock risks (stock shortages, overstock, and waste)
Analyze sales performance and provide actionable recommendations
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting and prepare planning reports
Maintain demand planning data and forecasting parameters
Prepare reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to support data-driven decision-making
Requirements :
?Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
?Minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics.
Proven experience forecasting demand using historical sales data, product availability, market trends, and promotion plans.
Strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience handling large datasets, baseline modeling, and inventory execution.
?Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively across Business, Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations teams.
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced interim environment.
?Experience in Retail, FMCG, Grocery, or E-commerce is highly preferred.
