We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable to manage the company’s payables process, ensure timely and accurate payments, reconcile vendor accounts, and support overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience handling high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, billing statements, and payment requests accurately and on time
- Prepare and process accounts payable transactions, including check vouchers, bank transfers, and online payments
- Monitor due dates and ensure timely payment to suppliers and service providers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal departments and suppliers
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and supporting documents
- Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports related to payables
- Monitor advances, reimbursements, and liquidation of expenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments regarding invoice matching and payment concerns
- Assist during audits by providing necessary documents and schedules
- Support other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or related field
- At least 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP software
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics, or trading industry is an advantage
