Compliance Officer

Job Description

1. Prepare and review compliance reports required by regulators and internal management.

2. Monitor compliance with applicable OJK regulations, laws, and internal policies across departments.

3. Assess and provide guidance on regulatory requirements relevant to the Company’s life insurance operations.

4. Conduct compliance monitoring, identify potential violations, and follow up on corrective actions.

5. Review and update compliance policies, procedures, SOPs, and internal guidelines.

6. Coordinate with Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal, and relevant departments on compliance matters and regulatory updates.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Compliance and Personal Data Protection, with specific experience in the Sharia life insurance industry.

3. Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations relevant to the Company’s business and operations, particularly regulations governing the life insurance industry, with specific knowledge of Sharia life insurance regulations, DSN-MUI Fatwas, capital market regulations, and applicable POJK and SEOJK.

4. Strong coordination and communication skills with regulators and relevant stakeholders, including strong drafting skills in preparing formal correspondence and other official communications.

5. Experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and policy/procedure review.

6. Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare and present clear and effective PowerPoint materials for training, socialization, and other presentation purposes.
