Assistant General Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Assistant General Manager to serve as the General Manager's strategic partner. This position is designed for a professional who can provide insights, evaluate business performance, assess opportunities and risks, and contribute to informed decision-making across our hospitality and retail businesses.

The role is less about day-to-day execution and more about bringing independent perspectives, market intelligence, and sound business judgment to support the General Manager in driving sustainable growth and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the General Manager on strategic and business-critical matters.

• Monitor hospitality and retail market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive developments.

• Analyze business performance and identify opportunities, risks, and improvement areas.

• Evaluate strategic initiatives, partnerships, investments, and expansion opportunities.

• Prepare business reviews, recommendations, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.

• Provide independent perspectives and challenge assumptions constructively when required.

• Review business priorities and assess their potential operational and financial impact.

• Consolidate information from different departments to provide a holistic view of business performance.

• Support long-term planning and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives.
