About the role

PT Tirta Surya Raya is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang, Banten, offering an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth and build lasting client relationships. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and achieving sales targets whilst representing our company's values and commitment to excellence. Key responsibilities


Business Development

  • Manage and grow solvent sales with existing customers to ensure sustainable business growth and long-term partnerships.

  • Identify and develop new customers across various industries, including Coatings & Paints, Resins, Adhesives, Industrial Cleaning, Agrochemicals, and other manufacturing sectors.

  • Explore new business opportunities, customer requirements, and market trends to expand the product portfolio and sales pipeline.

  • Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements, and successfully close sales while achieving targeted profit margins.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as their trusted business partner.

  • Provide technical and commercial support on product selection, application requirements, and supply planning.

  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and ensure excellent customer satisfaction in line with company service standards.

Pricing & Profitability

  • Monitor market pricing, competitor activities, and supply-demand trends to identify business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective pricing strategies and improve sales profitability.

  • Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

  • Work with Finance and Credit Control to manage payment terms, minimize overdue accounts, and monitor customer credit exposure.

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Prepare accurate monthly sales reports covering sales volume, revenue, profitability, customer performance, sales pipeline, and market developments.

  • Provide regular market feedback and competitor insights to support business strategy.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in chemicals, solvents, petrochemicals, coatings, resins, adhesives, or industrial raw materials.

  3. Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.

  4. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  7. Willing to travel for customer visits and business development activities.

  8. Fluent in English, both written and spoken
