Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Research & Development activities for Snack, Wafer, Biscuit, Export products, and OEM products.
Develop new products from concept generation, formulation, trial process, product validation, and commercialization stage.
Drive product innovation initiatives based on market trends, customer insights, business strategy, and consumer preferences.
Improve existing products through reformulation, quality enhancement, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate product trials and scale-up activities with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other related departments.
Manage product documentation including formulation specifications, technical documents, product standards, and development reports.
Ensure product development complies with food safety regulations, quality standards, and applicable government requirements.
Support OEM and export product development by understanding customer requirements and market specifications.
Lead and develop the R&D team to achieve department objectives and project timelines.
Monitor and ensure all R&D projects are completed within agreed timelines and business targets.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Research & Development within Snack, Wafer, Biscuit, or related FMCG manufacturing industries.
Strong experience in handling product development for Snack, Wafer, Biscuit, Export products, and OEM projects.
Strong understanding of product formulation, ingredient functionality, food processing, and manufacturing processes.
Experienced in product development lifecycle from ideation to commercialization.
Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Familiar with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and relevant regulations.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation mindset.
Good leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
Willing to be placed in Bogor.
