Accounting Manager

Job description :

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing.

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other relevant parties during audit and reporting processes.

• Maintain strong internal controls and improve accounting procedures for better efficiency and accuracy.

• Supervise and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.

• Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations related to accounting matters.

• Handle intercompany transactions and consolidation reporting if required.

• Ensure all accounting documentation is complete, organized, and properly maintained.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Preferably from distribution company

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger, month-end closing, and reconciliation.

• Good knowledge of PSAK / IFRS and Indonesian tax regulations.

• Experienced in handling external audit, internal audit, and statutory compliance.

• Proven ability to prepare and review financial statements accurately and in a timely manner.

• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and team management capability.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Good communication skills and able to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Having brevet A/B is an advantage.

• Experience in group reporting or multi-entity accounting will be a plus.

• Experience in fast-paced or growing companies is preferred.
