Head of OHSE

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and lead OHSE strategies, policies, standards, and governance frameworks across the group's operations.

2. Design medium- and long-term work programs to support operations, sustainability, and compliance with government regulations.

3. Establish and ensure the implementation of the OHSE Management System, standards, procedures, guidelines, and performance requirements across all business units.

4. Monitor, evaluate, and improve OHSE performance across the group through KPIs, audits, risk management, reporting, and performance reviews.

5. Ensure compliance with KPLH regulations, mining environmental management, and other government regulations.

6. Oversee and strengthen accident prevention and significantly reduce the accident rate across the group's operations.

7. Lead group-wide investigations and reviews of major accidents, high-risk incidents, environmental incidents, and occupational health events, including corrective and preventive actions.

8. Establish and oversee emergency preparedness and response standards, including crisis management and continuity across the Group's operations.

9. Ensure the effective implementation of environmental compliance, pollution prevention, waste management, water management, reclamation, rehabilitation, and environmental monitoring programs.

10. Lead and manage the Group's OHS audits, compliance assessments, certification programs, and government regulatory engagements.

11. Manage and develop the Group's OHSE team, including organizational structure, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development/succession.

12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve zero accidents and sustainable OHSE performance across the Group.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field, preferably a Master's degree.

2. Minimum 15 years of professional experience in OHSE and 5 years of experience at the Senior Manager level, preferably from a nickel mining company and managing multiple operations and business units.

3. Strong experience in developing and implementing the Group's OHSE Management System, policies, standards, and governance.

4. Proven track record in managing large-scale mining operations and high-risk activities.

5. Strong knowledge of Indonesian mining, occupational safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

6. Experience in OHSE audits, risk management, incident investigation, emergency response, environmental compliance, and critical risk management.

7. Strong understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and preferably ISO 9001 or an integrated management system.

8. Possession of POU, General OHS Expert, SMKP Auditor, ISO Lead Auditor, PPPA/PPPU/POPAL certifications or equivalent certifications would be an advantage.

9. Experience in developing OHSE KPIs, leading indicators, lagging indicators, assurance programs, and performance dashboards.

10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.

11. Willing to be placed in the Jakarta head office with working days Monday – Friday (08.00-17.00) Saturday (10.00-14.00).
