Job Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessment and evaluate insurance proposals in line with the company’s underwriting guidelines
Determine appropriate terms & conditions, coverage limits, and pricing based on risk profiles
Review and approve policy submissions from internal teams
Coordinate with marketing teams and brokers regarding risk placement
Ensure all underwriting processes comply with company standards and regulatory requirements
Provide recommendations to improve underwriting processes and risk management practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any major (preferably in Insurance, Management, or related fields)
Minimum 3 years of experience in General Insurance underwriting
Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk analysis, and policy placement processes
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Professional insurance certifications (AAIK/AAAIK) will be an advantage
Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage
