Position: Domain Expert – Legal (Lexis+ Research) Type:Contract Compensation:$76–$120/hour Location:Remote Role Responsibilities - Confirm every case, statute, and regulation is still good law for the point cited. Catch negative Shepard's treatment. - Catch non-existent or misdescribed cases. Verify quotes, holdings, and pin cites. - Judge completeness by ensuring controlling authority is found and on-point cases are not missed. Maintain distinct 50-state/multi-jurisdiction splits. - Verify currency by checking the version of the law in force on the operative date. - Distinguish binding vs. persuasive authority. Require verify-before-finalize.
