PT.PENGEMBANGAN INDUSTRI LOGAM (PIL) is a mining construction company wholly-owned subsidiary of China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. known as NFC. In addition, NFC has a global presence in more than 50 countries and regions including Kazakhstan, Mongolia, India, Greece, Congo (DRC), Zambia, Mexico, Vietnam and Laos, involving Non-ferrous metal business consulting, mineral resource exploration, Non-ferrous metal industry design, research and development, international engineering contracting, mineral investment, including mining, smelting, metallurgical industrial equipment manufacturing, non-ferrous metal trade, etc.

Job Desc

1. Translate conversations between Chinese and Indonesian workers.

2. Assist in meetings, briefings, and operational discussions.

3. Support the team by translating written materials when required.

4. Facilitates communication between leaders and local employees, assisting with daily operational needs.

5. Accurately translates technical, field project discussions, etc., for all parties.

6. Translates various documents from Mandarin to English or Indonesian, and from English or Indonesian to Mandarin.

7. Ensures all translated materials are grammatically correct, culturally appropriate, and use appropriate industry terminology.

8. Assists superiors in scheduling, organizing documents, and coordinating logistics, as needed, for meetings and visits involving Mandarin-speaking parties.

9. Reviews and edits translations completed by third parties or junior staff to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company terminology.

10. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all interpreted and translated information.

Job Requirements

1. Proficiency in both Mandarin and Indonesian (spoken and written).

2. Have a minimum of 2 years experiences as a translator and a minimum certification of HSK Level 4.

3. Strong listening and communication skills.

4. Strong coordination, and analytical skills

5. Prior experience in translation, preferably in a mining or industrial environment, is an advantage.

6. Ability to adapt to a multicultural working environment.

7. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

8. Applicants are required to submit their CV in two language versions: Mandarin and Indonesian.
