Roles and Responsibilities – Logistics Supervisor

• Plan, manage, and oversee all logistics and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including transportation, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy, availability, and proper stock rotation.
• Manage warehouse operations, including storage layout, material handling, and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Utilize logistics and ERP systems (such as SAP or similar systems) to track shipments, inventory, and operational performance.
• Analyze logistics performance and costs, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, and Other Departement) to support business needs.
• Manage, train, and evaluate logistics and warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Handle logistics-related issues, including delays, damages, and discrepancies, and provide timely solutions.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, inventory status, and operational performance for management review.
• Ensure readiness for audits and maintain accurate logistics and warehouse documentation.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse management, and distribution operations.
• Proficient in using ERP systems such as SAP or similar logistics systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to travel or work out of town when required.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
