HS Code Specialist

Operations Team

HS Code Specialist are all about keeping things moving smoothly. As an Import Operations Associate, you’ll manage import documents, track shipments, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to make sure every cargo arrives accurately, compliantly, and right on schedule.

What You’ll Be Up To:

• Create and establish standardized import procedures in compliance with Indonesian regulations
• Regularly update the operations team on any modifications to import rules and regulations
• Oversee and manage the Harmonized System (HS) Code classification for each imported item
• Regularly update and maintain the accuracy of the HS Code database
• Collaborate with the operations team to assess the safety of goods slated for importation
• Verify that all necessary requirements, including documentation and permits, are fulfilled before importation

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any major
• Have a min 2 year experience in a similar import-related role and import company
• Knowledge of current import regulations and procedures in Indonesia
• Understanding of HS coding and its application in the import process
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Having a PPJK certification is a plus
