PT FIRST WAP INTERNATIONAL (brand name 1rstWAP) is a technology company providing advanced mobile messaging, location-based services, and other technology solutions to mobile operators, enterprise customers, and government institutions worldwide.
We are currently looking for a System Architect to join our System Architecture, Analysis & Design (SAAD) team in Setiabudi, South Jakarta.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in requirement and change analysis for new features and improvements to existing products.
Design efficient, scalable, stable, and maintainable software systems based on business and technical requirements.
Prepare and maintain Software Design Description (SDD) and API Documentation.
Translate business and software requirements (BRS/SRS) into system designs, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and interfaces.
Define system components, APIs, integrations, data flows, and appropriate design patterns.
Work closely with Software Engineers, Database Engineers, Business Technology Analysts, and QA teams to ensure designs are correctly implemented.
Support system performance, scalability, robustness, and maintainability improvements.
Conduct technical documentation handovers and provide explanations to development teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in software development, system design, system analysis, or software/system architecture.
Hands-on software development/programming experience.
Good understanding of Software Architecture, Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD), and Design Patterns.
Good understanding of API design, REST API, system integration, and database concepts.
Familiar with technical documentation and modelling such as SDD, API Documentation, UML, Sequence Diagram, Component Diagram, Use Case, and Flowchart.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Good command of English and Indonesian, both written and spoken.
Experience using API testing/documentation tools such as Postman is an advantage.
