Key responsibilities
Manage and coordinate quantity surveying, engineering, and commercial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and review quantity take-offs, BOQ, cost estimates, budgets, and tender/commercial documents.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, material submittals, and other technical documents.
Monitor project progress, cost, quality, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
Prepare, evaluate, and manage variations, claims, payment applications, and contractual entitlements.
Review subcontractor and supplier quotations, commercial proposals, and payment documentation.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to resolve technical, quantity, cost, and contractual matters.
Monitor project cost, revenue, cash flow, commitments, and overall profitability.
Identify technical, commercial, contractual, and cost risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Support contract administration, commercial negotiations, project forecasting, and cost control.
Conduct site inspections and verify quantities, work progress, quality, and technical compliance.
Prepare regular project, cost, commercial, and progress reports for management.
Ensure all project activities comply with contractual requirements, company procedures, and applicable standards.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, quantity surveying, or commercial project management.
Strong understanding of quantity take-off, BOQ, cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
Good knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, construction methods, and applicable standards.
Experienced in contract administration, variation orders, claims, payment certification, and commercial negotiations.
Strong understanding of project cost, cash flow, forecasting, and profitability.
Ability to review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and commercial proposals.
Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and/or relevant project management or QS software is an advantage.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to achieving project objectives.
Professional certification in QS, Engineering, or Construction Management is an advantage.
