About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at PT Quantum Indo Cemerlang as a Sales Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's sales and growth strategies across Java Island, with your main base in Bandung.
As a full-time Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for actively engaging with customers, understanding their technical needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their business objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
Lead Generation: Identify new sales opportunities and generate qualified leads through proactive outreach, market research, and networking.
Technical Consultation: Assess customer requirements and provide expert technical advice and recommendations on Quantum (Compressor and Utility) products and services.
Proposal & Value Pitching: Prepare detailed technical proposals and commercial quotations, effectively communicating our value proposition.
Deal Closure: Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively to meet and exceed sales targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the wider engineering and support teams to ensure seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the industrial utility sector.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Business, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Industry Focus: Prior experience in the industrial utility sector (especially dealing with air compressors or related machinery) will be highly prioritized.
Mobility: Must possess a valid Driver's License (SIM A) and be willing to travel across Java Island.
Technical Aptitude: Strong technical mindset with the ability to understand, translate, and explain complex engineering solutions to customers.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport.
Track Record: A proven history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
Language: Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).
