About the Team
Our owned-media team runs an automated, increasingly Al-driven CRM program that reaches travellers across Southeast Asia. We're looking for someone with around 5 years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing who is excited about automation and personalisation and ready to go deep on the technical side.
The day-to-day work and projects involve real engineering thinking, from building personalisation logic to automating operations. If you are quick on the uptake, a good logical thinker, and resourceful and independent enough to figure things out as you go, you will thrive in this role. A working foundation in technical execution such as writing scripts, loops, and conditional logic will accelerate your growth.
You'll work alongside our Product MarTech and Data teams to connect the data plumbing, build the logic, and automate the busywork that makes our messaging smarter. If you have strong CRM fundamentals, a builder's instinct for automation, and genuine curiosity about Al in marketing, this is a chance to grow into one of the most technical seats in regional CRM
What you'll do
Working closely with our Product MarTech team and Data team, you'll help:
- Enable dynamic content connections. Partner with the data and product teams to set up the data feeds, APls, and catalog integrations that let our messages personalise themselves, so the right content flows into the right campaign automatically.
- Develop personalisations logic. Build and maintain templating logic (Braze Liquid) that collects and uses customer data to personalise messaging across campaigns. This is hands-on technical work, with training to bring you up to speed on our specific tools.
- Build automation infrastructure. Develop the internal tools and scripts that power our CRM operations, from data syncs and content workflows to scheduled jobs and automated QA checks. You'll engineer reusable building blocks the whole team relies on, not just one-off fixes.
- Automate existing CRM operations. Turn the repetitive, manual steps in our current CRM workflows into reliable, automated processes that free the team for higher-value work.
Because the program spans several markets, you'll also help run feature introductions, kickoffs, and working discussions with colleagues across multiple countries, so comfortable, confident English is important.
What we're looking for
- CRM foundations. Around 5 years of hands-on experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing. You understand campaigns, segments, and how messaging reaches customers at scale.
- Technical execution. Prior hands-on experience writing scripts, loops, and conditional logic is essential. This is a heavily technical role, and without that base the ramp-up will be very steep. Templating or Liquid experience is a strong plus.
- Automation mindset. When you see a manual, repetitive task, your instinct is to ask whether it can be automated. You enjoy making processes cleaner and more reliable, and you sweat the edge cases.
- Al curiosity. You're interested in how Al and automation are reshaping marketing, and eager to learn to work with these tools in practice.
- Regional collaborator. Based in Indonesia, working with teammates across Southeast Asia. You can hold discussions, lead feature introductions, and run kickoffs comfortably in English.
Training is provided on our specific stack (Braze, Liquid, and our internal tools), but the core technical aptitude and CRM experience need to be there on day one.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with a marketing-automation platform (Braze, Iterable, CleverTap, MoEngage, or similar).
- Comfort reading data and writing queries (SQL or similar) to answer your own questions.
- Light scripting (Python or JavaScript) for glue work and automation.
- Experience across multiple Southeast Asian markets or in a multicultural team.
Why you'll love it
- Genuinely technical CRM. A rare seat where marketing craft and hands-on technical work live in the same role, with real depth to grow into.
- Your work matters. What you build, connect, and automate reaches travellers across the region, and you'll see the impact.
- Frontier of Al marketing. Hands-on with a live, automated, increasingly Al-driven CRM system. Not theory, but the real thing in production.
- Regional exposure. Collaborate with talented people across several countries and build a genuinely cross-market Perspective.
