About the role

Locca Sea House is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Runners to join our front-of-house team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Runner, you will be the essential link between our kitchen and dining floor, ensuring seamless service and contributing to the high standards Locca Sea House is known for. This role requires someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the excellence our restaurant demands.

Key responsibilities

1. Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring plates are presented correctly and orders are accurate

2. Clearing tables promptly and efficiently whilst maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment

3. Assisting with table setup, including arranging cutlery, glassware, and place settings to meet restaurant standards

4. Supporting waitstaff by fulfilling their requests and ensuring coordinated service flow throughout service periods

5. Communicating effectively with kitchen and service teams to prioritise orders and manage table flow

6. Maintaining knowledge of current menu items and being able to answer basic guest enquiries

7. Adhering to health and safety standards and maintaining high standards of personal hygiene

8. Assisting with general restaurant maintenance and setup for service as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working in a hospitality environment, preferably as a Runner or similar front-of-house role

2. A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

4. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely and efficiently

5. Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment

6. Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends

7. A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality

8. Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous

9. Willingness to learn and adapt to Locca Sea House standards and procedures
