About the role

We are seeking a talented Drafter to join our technical team at PT Prima Saftindo Elektrika in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in translating engineering concepts and specifications into precise technical drawings and documentation. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical plans that are essential to the success of our projects. This role is integral to ensuring our clients receive accurate, professional-quality documentation that meets industry standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce detailed technical drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints using industry-standard software and tools

• Convert engineering sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate technical drawings

• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and company specifications

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and technical specifications

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and revisions throughout the project lifecycle

• Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies

• Prepare and organize drawing packages for distribution to clients and construction teams

• Stay updated with the latest drawing standards, regulations, and industry best practices

• Support project teams by providing technical clarifications on drawings when required

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Drawing, or a related technical field

• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, particularly AutoCAD or similar industry-standard tools

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and technical specifications

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, precise drawings

• Knowledge of relevant electrical standards, codes, and drawing conventions

• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with engineering and project teams

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements

• Experience in electrical or infrastructure projects is highly desirable

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technical software
