Data Center - Electrical Engineer (Design & Construction)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and delivery of greenfield and brownfield data center

projects from planning through implementation.

• Coordinate data center remodeling activities and the deployment of additional

services within existing live data halls.

• Support the preparation of concept designs, technical studies, and engineering

solutions for new and existing facilities.

• Review and provide technical input to design proposals, specifications,

drawings, and engineering documentation.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to

ensure design deliverables are completed on schedule and meet project

requirements.

• Monitor design progress and assist in resolving technical design and site-related

issues during project execution.

• Review multidisciplinary engineering designs, including electrical, mechanical,

structural, architectural, and telecommunication disciplines, to ensure

coordination and compliance.

• Support engineering reviews for constructability, operability, maintainability, and

safety.

• Ensure engineering documentation, drawings, and project records are accurate,

complete, and properly maintained.

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of engineering procedures,

standards, and best practices.

• Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C), site inspections, factory acceptance

tests (FAT), and system acceptance activities.

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers while promoting collaboration across

project teams.

• Ensure compliance with company standards, applicable codes, regulatory

requirements, and client specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in engineering consultancy, data center engineering,

or electrical infrastructure design and construction.

• Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and High Voltage (HV) electrical

distribution systems.

• Experience in Greenfield and brownfield data center projects.
