Corporate Strategy Deputy Head

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Strategy Deputy Head to join PT Daya Intiguna Yasa (MR DIY) in Jakarta Raya. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and long-term vision of our organization. As Deputy Head of Corporate Strategy, you will work closely with senior leadership to develop, implement, and refine strategic initiatives that drive business growth and competitive advantage. This role is integral to ensuring our strategic objectives are translated into actionable plans across the entire organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities

• Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making

• Support the formulation of long-term business strategies and identify emerging opportunities for growth

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic initiatives into operational implementation plans

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives against established key performance indicators

• Prepare strategic reports and presentations for executive leadership and the board of directors

• Identify and assess potential risks to strategic objectives and develop mitigation strategies

• Lead strategic planning workshops and facilitate strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders

• Support merger, acquisition, and partnership evaluation processes

• Ensure alignment between corporate strategy, business units, and functional departments

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, or related field

• Minimum 14-20 years of experience in corporate strategy, business planning, or consulting roles

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing business strategies within large organisations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work with complex data sets

• Excellent knowledge of strategic planning frameworks and methodologies

• Proven experience in conducting market analysis and competitive positioning and financial modeling

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior executives

• Proficiency in strategic planning tools and business intelligence software

• Fluency in both English and Indonesian, written and spoken

• Experience in retail or fast-moving consumer goods sectors is highly preferred

• Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across organizational levels
