Technical Sales Engineer (Marine Cranes & Hatch Covers)
We are a leading provider of marine equipment and technical services, supporting the shipping and offshore industries with reliable engineering solutions. As part of our continued growth in Indonesia, we are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to strengthen our service team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and commissioning for marine cranes and hatch cover systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system faults.
Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and maintenance recommendations.
Coordinate with customers, shipyards, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
Provide technical guidance and after-sales support to customers.
Ensure all service activities comply with company procedures and HSE requirements.
Travel within Indonesia and overseas to support customer requirements when necessary.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience servicing marine cranes, hatch covers, or other marine deck machinery.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Experience with PLC-based control systems is an added advantage.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Customer-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Possess a valid driving licence.
