Salary Range: Rp. 3,800,000 - Rp. 4,000,000

The foundation runs two skills centers on Bali: Bali WISE, which provides education and skills training to marginalized communities, and the ZeroWaste Center, which delivers environmental knowledge and practical waste management training to local people and businesses. Role Description: The Environmental Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kecamatan Kuta Selatan. This role involves designing and delivering engaging environmental education sessions for diverse groups, including local communities, students, and businesses at R.O.L.E. Foundation’s centers. The Environmental Educator will conduct outdoor education activities, lead workshops and field-based learning experiences, and support participants in applying sustainable practices in their daily lives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating curricula, preparing teaching materials, coordinating with program staff, and monitoring learning outcomes. The role also includes collaborating with local partners, supporting environmental campaigns and events, and contributing to program reporting and documentation.
Job Task:
- Organize and lead public school, communities, and business environmental education tours, workshops, and beach cleanup.
- Day-to-day center administration, such as environmental products and resources usage.
- Monthly and annual activities and impact reporting.
- Conduct a daily meeting with the Environmental Manager.
- Meeting with schools, donors, and supporters.
- Maintain R.O.L.E. Foundation coral garden in Nusa Dua.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Education, with the ability to facilitate interactive, experiential learning.
- Solid understanding of Ecology and Wildlife, including local ecosystems and conservation challenges relevant to Bali and Indonesia.
- Ability to communicate complex environmental concepts in clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Comfort working outdoors in varying conditions and leading group activities safely and responsibly.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan sessions, manage materials, and meet program timelines.
- Fluency in English required.
- Having a degree in Marine Science or having a diving certification is a plus.
- Able to ride and own a motorcycle.
- Currently living in Bali, Indonesia
