About the role
PT Samick Indonesia is seeking a talented Computer Science / AI Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in Cileungsi, West Java. This is a pivotal position within our electrical and electronic engineering operations, where you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions and digital transformation projects within our company.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement AI and software solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
Analyze production data and identify opportunities for automation.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and IT teams.
Support AI vision systems, databases, and system integration.
Maintain and improve existing software applications.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Software Development, or Automation.
Proficiency in Python, PHP, Flutter, Java-Script or other programming languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Korean will be an advantage and is highly preferred.
