General Ledger Accountant

ROLE SUMMARY:

Responsible for general accounting activities for operated entities by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial transaction recording through effective General Ledger (GL) management, in compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies, and applicable regulations—supporting RFPC’s financial reporting and business analysis processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Record and adjust daily financial transactions in the General Ledger

- Prepare well-documented and accurate accounting journal entries

- Perform account reconciliation and maintain accurate balances

- Support month-end and year-end closing processes

- Provide financial data for internal reports, audits, and tax filings

- Ensure compliance with both international and local financial reporting standards

- Post journal entries for cash, bank, assets, expenses, payables, etc.

- Verify supporting documents for accounting entries

- Reconcile intercompany accounts and general ledger balances

- Review and maintain the chart of accounts

- Support internal and external audits with required documentation

- Archive accounting records according to Shared Service Center (SSC) standards

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in ERP systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, PSAK) and local tax codes

• Experience with automated closing processes or accounting workflow tools

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Educational & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English (spoken and written)

• 3–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in manufacturing or Shared Service Center environments

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
