Senior Automation QA Engineer – SDK, Web & Tracking Systems

Role Overview

• We are hiring a Senior Automation QA Engineer to strengthen our testing capabilities across SDK, mobile apps, web/iFrame, and APIs, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end automation and regression efficiency.
• This role combines manual validation + automation ownership, with a mandate to scale automation coverage, reduce testing bottlenecks, and ensure data accuracy across tracking systems.
• You will play a critical role in ensuring tracking integrity (events, conversions, postbacks) and supporting rapid product releases without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation & Testing

- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for:

  - Mobile SDK (primary focus)

  - Web & iFrame flows

  - API integrations

- Increase automation test coverage (target: ≥20% E2E within 6 months)

- Improve regression testing efficiency through automation pipelines

Manual QA & Validation

- Execute manual test plans for:

  - Tracking flows (conversion, attribution, postbacks)

  - Dashboard logic and reporting accuracy

- Validate cross-platform event tracking consistency (Web, SDK, API)

Technical Testing

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman

- Validate tracking and business logic using SQL queries

- Debug discrepancies between frontend behavior and backend data

Collaboration & Process

- Work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to:

  - Define acceptance criteria and edge cases

  - Improve QA processes and test coverage

- Manage bugs and workflows in Jira

- Share QA knowledge and improve team-wide testing practices

Required Skills:

Core Technical Skills

- 4–7+ years in QA / Automation Engineering

- Strong experience in:

  - Automation testing frameworks (Playwright preferred)

  - API testing

  - Web & mobile testing

- Experience with:

  - SDK testing and validation

  - iFrame / web integration testing

  - SQL for data validation

Automation Capabilities

- Ability to design and implement E2E automation systems

- Experience testing across:

  - Native apps (Android/iOS)

  - APIs

  - Web platforms

Analytical & Business Understanding

- Ability to understand business logic and tracking flows

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

- Ability to identify anomalies in data and tracking systems

Collaboration

- Experience working cross-functionally

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Ability to mentor or share QA best practices

Nice to Have

- Experience in AdTech / performance marketing / affiliate systems

- Familiarity with:

  - AppsFlyer, GA, GTM, Amplitude

- Experience with:

  - Data dashboards (Looker, Redash)

  - Mobile SDK instrumentation

  - CI/CD testing pipelines
