About the role
We are seeking an experienced Club Supervisor to join the team at Shishi Izakaya Lounge & Nightclub Bali. This is a full-time position based in Badung, Bali, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and manage operations within one of Bali's premier hospitality and entertainment venues. As Club Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high operational standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position is integral to the success of our establishment and directly impacts guest satisfaction and safety.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing daily club operations and ensuring compliance with all health, safety and licensing regulations
Managing and supervising staff members including bartenders, servers, hosts and security personnel, providing training and performance feedback
Maintaining high standards of customer service and guest experience throughout all operating hours
Monitoring and controlling inventory, stock levels and wastage across bar and hospitality supplies
Handling guest inquiries, complaints and concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly and effectively
Ensuring the club environment is clean, well-maintained and adheres to safety protocols at all times
Managing table reservations, seating arrangements and event logistics
Coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and quality standards
Conducting till reconciliation and assisting with cash handling procedures
Preparing reports on operational performance, incidents and staff management
Enforcing age verification and responsible service of alcohol practices
Assisting with marketing initiatives and promotional events
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in hospitality management, ideally in a nightclub, bar or lounge environment
Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and handle high-pressure situations calmly
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and cost control
Understanding of local regulations, licensing requirements and health and safety standards in Bali
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts, including late nights
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Fluency in English is essential; Indonesian and other languages are advantageous
First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification would be beneficial
