Job Description

Placement: at one of our clients (Telco Industry) at Jakarta Area

Working System: Full WFO

Employment Contract: PKWT/Contract (12 months)

Job Description:

Framework Development & Maintenance: Design, write, and maintain robust, scalable UI and API test automation scripts using frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or RestAssured.

Pipeline Integration: Embed automated test suites into CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for efficient regression and shift-left testing.

Test Strategy & Design: Review product requirements, design thorough test plans, write clear test cases, and identify high-value automation candidates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the Agile/Scrum software development life cycle.

Defect & Performance Management: Identify, document, isolate, and track software bugs using JIRA; assist in root cause analysis for tricky failures.

Continuous Improvement: Research and introduce modern testing tools, performance testing practices, and best automation standards to the team.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Education: Must have a bachelor's Degree (S1)

Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in software test automation or software engineering.

Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in at least one modern language (Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#).

Test Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with core UI tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) and API testing frameworks (RestAssured, Postman, Supertest).

CI/CD & DevOps Basics: Practical experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI).

API Testing: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, and HTTP protocols.

Version Control: Proficient with Git workflows (pull requests, branching strategies, code reviews).

Database & SQL: Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data validation and test setup.

Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
