Provides entry-level technical support for information security activities by assisting with monitoring, documentation, and routine security tasks under close supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Assists with monitoring security alerts and logs using established tools
2. Supports routine vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking
3. Maintains security documentation, procedures, and access records
4. Assists with user access provisioning and deprovisioning under guidance
5. Escalates potential security incidents or anomalies to senior security teammates
6. Follows security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or work-related experience
2. 0–2 years of experience in information technology, security, or related technical roles
3. Basic understanding of information security concepts and practices

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with SIEM, EDR, IAM, or vulnerability management tools
2. Professional security certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GSEC)
