Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage
Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, procedures, and international trade compliance, import/export documentation, tariff classifications, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in customs clearance software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with government agencies and external partners
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all documentation
Fluency in Indonesian and English (written and verbal)
Professional certification in customs brokerage or international trade (such as IATA, FIATA, or equivalent) is advantageous
Job Description:
Manage and oversee all customs clearance procedures for import shipments
Prepare and submit customs documentation, including declarations, permits, and regulatory filings
Liaise with customs authorities and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of goods
Monitor changes in customs regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and requirements
Resolve customs issues, discrepancies, and delays to maintain operational continuity
Coordinate with internal teams including logistics, finance, and operations to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing
Maintain detailed records of all customs clearance activities and prepare regular compliance reports
Manage relationships with customs brokers and third-party service providers
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation in customs operations
Train and supervise customs clearance staff to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
