Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree in any major, preferably naval architecture, marine engineering, marine technology, ocean engineering, offshore engineering, maritime business
Minimum 2 years in related field
Fluent in English, both oral and written
Required Knowledge and Skill(s):
Marketing-driven mindset; strong interpersonal & networking skills
Business negotiation
Basic shipping knowledge preferred:
General liquid cargo
Vessel knowledge & International convention
Pre-fixture & post-fixture
B/L & Marine Insurance
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
Computer literate
Have strong analytical and logical thinking, achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, interpersonal relationships, the ability to plan, organize, problem-solve, and make decisions, business process understanding, information gathering, and leveraging networks.
Responsibilities:
Fixing cargo for vessels space
Doing market research and exploring new market
Maintain and improving relationship with customers
Looking for new customers
Monitoring market movement/trends
Exploring new market and charterer
Monitoring vessel movement together with Operation
Planning customer visit (existing and new)
Finding and prospecting suitable cargo to fill the vessel
Checking vessel suitability for the cargo
Calculating freight
Negotiating with customer to meet competitive rate and best level of service
Fixing cargo according to expectation/budget
Carefully checking charter party clauses
Updating vessel schedule
Planning vessel next voyage based on market situation
Preparing proposal for COA (Contract of Affreightment) cargo
Preparing proposal for Time Charter contract
Continuously updating tanker market situation, and preparing market presentation
Building and maintaining relationship customers and/or related parties
