Roof Drafter (Construction & Architecture)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Roof Drafter to join our growing team and help us build the future, one roof at a time. In this role, you will translate architectural blueprints and field measurements into precise, actionable roofing plans. You will work closely with our project managers, estimators, and field crews to ensure that every project is meticulously planned, accurately estimated, and compliant with all local building codes.

Location:LATAM 100% Remote. Working hours are based between the CST and EST Time Zones.

Key Responsibilities:

- Detailed Planning: Produce accurate 2D/3D roof plans, elevations, and custom fabrication details using AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

- Material Calculation: Assist estimators by calculating precise square footage, pitches, and material take-offs based on architectural drawings.
- Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with project managers and field teams to troubleshoot design issues and adjust plans based on on-site conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all shop drawings and project plans comply with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of drafting experience, ideally within the roofing, construction, or architectural industries.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or industry-specific roofing CAD software.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of various roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, Metal, Shingle) and construction fundamentals.
- Core Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong spatial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
