Primary Objective of Position:
A Counter Sales Representative is the main point of contact for customers at the sales counter. This position includes assisting clients with product inquiries, processing purchases, and providing a pleasant and gratifying shopping experience. The position is critical for increasing sales, retaining customer loyalty, and supporting overall shop operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Greet and interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
? Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
? Inspect and measure actual samples brought by walk-in customers.
? Convert competitor items to our company’s offerings/ alternatives.
? Provide detailed information on product features, pricing, discounts, and promotions.
? Process payment transactions accurately (e.g. cash, company g-cash, maya, etc.)
? Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints effectively.
? Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and display areas.
? Report fast moving items to branch manager for replenishment/ ordering.
? Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and upsell complementary products.
? Collaborate with inventory, warehouse staff, and sales team.
? Report potential Automotive and Industrial customers to Account Executives for proper handling and assistance.
? Recommend strategies and campaigns especially for walk in customers to increase sales.
