Commercial Executive

PT Hytech Energy Logistik is a fast-growing logistics and supply chain principal specializing in specialized energy products, LNG, and industrial chemical transportation across Indonesia. To support our expanding regional footprint and serve key industrial hubs, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Executive to drive business growth, expand our regional client base, and strengthen key account relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify and capture new commercial opportunities for chemical, LNG, and energy logistics services across North Sumatra (Medan) or East Kalimantan (Balikpapan).
• Key Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing industrial clients, understanding their supply chain requirements and delivering tailored logistics solutions.
• Proposal & Contract Execution: Prepare commercial proposals, rate quotations, and tender submissions; lead contract negotiations to secure high-value freight and equipment leases.
• Market & Industry Intelligence: Monitor local market dynamics, competitor activities, industrial expansions (e.g., mining, palm oil processing, refining), and regulatory changes in the region.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with central operations, customer service, and fleet management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Pipeline & Sales Reporting: Track commercial leads, pipeline progress, and revenue targets, providing regular updates and forecasts to regional management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or an Engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales or business development experience in chemical logistics, freight forwarding, shipping lines, ISO tanks, or industrial energy services.
• Regional Knowledge: Strong local network and familiarity with industrial/commercial sectors in Kalimantan (for Balikpapan base)
• Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills; strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Language Skills: Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel regionally within the assigned territory as required.
