IT ENGINEERING MANAGER

About the Role

KNS Group is seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the development and delivery of enterprise applications, AI-enabled solutions, system integrations, workflow automation, and internal digital products.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be responsible for driving technical execution, ensuring engineering quality, managing vendors, implementing scalable architectures, and leading a high-performing engineering team. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical involvement in building and delivering production-ready software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

• Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Drive project execution, delivery timelines, and resource planning.

• Conduct architecture reviews and technical design assessments.

• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Application & Product Development

• Oversee the development of internal applications and digital products.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Ensure system reliability, maintainability, and performance.

AI & Intelligent Solutions

• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices.

• Lead the implementation of AI-enabled products and intelligent automation initiatives.

• Explore and integrate emerging AI technologies to improve business productivity.

Enterprise Integrations

• Manage integrations across enterprise systems, platforms, and business applications.

• Ensure seamless data flow between internal and external systems.

• Support ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and data pipelines.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define priorities and requirements.

• Manage external technology vendors and ensure delivery quality.

• Coordinate releases, deployments, and operational support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5–7 years of software engineering experience.

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading engineering teams.

• Strong experience in enterprise application development and system integration.

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/LLM integrations, AI Agents, and automation platforms.

• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, ERP/CRM integrations, and BI platforms.
